What do we want?

Simple. The T.O.S.S. Party wants to change America. How? By changing government in America. Changing it back into the responsible, responsive, reasonable, reliable organization it should be. The T.O.S.S. Party believes this sort of change is badly needed at ALL levels of American government—local, State, & Federal. But we’re taking aim at the Federal government first, because we believe that’s where change is most needed. And that’s also where the greatest opportunity to make immediate change presently exists.

So we’re going after the Feds.

Do we think we can we really change the Federal government? Change politics in America? Change life in America for the better, for ourselves and our families? Beat the special interests with their thousands of lobbyists and millions of dollars? Beat the odds? Make a difference? Do the impossible?

Damned right we do.

We have lousy government in America. Why? Because we’ve made it clear to both major political parties that we will elect lousy candidates. We’ll vote for whoever they put up for election. Even if we don’t like the candidates. We know it. They know it. So both major parties (yes, there really are only two) only offer us the candidates they want in office. Not candidates concerned with our issues. Just candidates who will carry out their party’s agenda. Candidates who are “OK.” Candidates who are “not that bad.” Or at least not as bad as the last candidates. People who aren’t really honest, but who aren’t under indictment either. We elect them because—well,

…what choice do we have?

For lack of better candidates, these losers get elected and are now running our Federal government. So is it really much of a surprise that government no longer works? We’re stuck with mediocre jokers who won’t do much more than whatever they’re told to do while trying not to offend anyone so they can get elected again. They don’t care, because they don’t have to. Why should they? Regardless of what happens to us, our Federal officials, both elected and appointed, have it made.

Pay. Perks. Privilege. Pensions.

The T.O.S.S. Party believes it’s time for our Federal officials to start worrying about their futures, just like the rest of us do. The T.O.S.S. Party believes it’s time for our Federal officials to start looking over their shoulders and watching their backs. It’s time for the Feds to start feeling a feeling a little
