Who are we?
We are the T.O.S.S. Party, and our party is all about change. The T.O.S.S. Party doesn’t talk about change. The T.O.S.S. party doesn’t recommend change. The T.O.S.S. party doesn’t advocate change. The T.O.S.S. party doesn’t demand change.
The T.O.S.S. party makes change.
The T.O.S.S. party has no national headquarters. No local chapters. No staff or committees. No candidates. No membership cards. The T.O.S.S. party has no budget, expenses or income. The T.O.S.S. party doesn’t accept donations or make contributions. There are no dues. The T.O.S.S. party doesn’t have a party mascot or a 1-800 number. It doesn’t need any of those things. In fact, all the T.O.S.S. Party has is a website.
And an idea.
The idea that all government - local, State, & Federal - can and should work efficiently, effectively, and economically, and that it should work for us. But that type of government is pretty much a thing of the past these days. Why?
Government has lost its way.
Government has forgotten its purpose; to transact the people’s business - OUR business - on our behalf for the common good of us all. Period. Government officials, elected and appointed, have no reason to be in office other than to serve us, their fellow citizens. But government has gotten too big, too anonymous, and too far removed from the people—the voters—who should be keeping an eye on it. Keeping it in line. Keeping it honest. So government now does whatever it feels like doing, public be damned. Government has gotten completely out of hand.
So now it’s time for us to get out of hand too.
